To retrofit or convert to this brake booster, at least on the Kadett C, the side wall towards the fender must be driven in, which should be done BEFORE painting, as with all adjustment work in general.
The rod from the brake pedal to the brake booster may also need to be adjusted = an adapter must be made in the form of a suitable rod with an external thread!
Neither of these tasks is rocket science.
