Plastic stop screw for the camshaft from new production, suitable for various CIH engines 1.5 - 2.8 from APRIL 1972.
The screw adjusts the distance between the camshaft and the front cover.
This high-quality stop screw / starting screw manufactured for us is not suitable for all CIH engines, as is often erroneously claimed, but only fits the following models:
- Kadett C 1.6 + 1.9 + 2.0
- Ascona B 1.6 + 1.9 + 2.0
- Manta B 1.6 + 1.9 + 2.0
- Rekord E 1.7 + 1.9 + 2.0

The screws were used from around May 1972, when Opel changed the cylinder heads on the CIH engines and two additional screws went into the front of the timing case. They can therefore be used on models with 12 cylinder head bolts instead of the previous 10.
